The number of HIV diagnoses in Oklahoma County in 2014 was 114 cases which accounted for 36.7% of the cases in the state. The rate of new HIV diagnoses in Oklahoma County was 14.9 per 100,000 people. The Oklahoma City MSA had the highest HIV rate among the MSAs at 11.2 per 100,000 people. With such leading rates of infection, it is critical to encourage more people to get tested.
