Chlamydia is still the most frequently reported STD. There were 15,626 new chlamydia infections in 2014 alone. Gonorrhea cases increased from 2,865 new diagnoses in 2013 to 3,391 the next year. The number of primary and secondary P&S syphilis in San Diego increased from 347 to 369 new infections from 2013 to 2014.
